A naked photo of "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens that surfaced on the internet Thursday is the real deal.

The 18-year-old's representative tells said, "This was a photo which was taken privately. It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public."

The National Enquirer was the first to report on the existence of the photo, which shows the Disney starlet posing naked in what looks to be a dressing room.

Hudgens reportedly took the private picture for her boyfriend and "HSM" co-star, Zac Efron, 19.
